Partake in a truly unforgettable culinary adventure, The Hot Pot.
A beloved culinary tradition in East Asia since antiquity, Hot Pot is a lively communal experience where family and friends can choose from a smorgasbord of raw, thinly sliced meats and vegetables for dipping in a steaming pot of delicious and nutrient-dense broth (a.k.a. the Hot Pot).
Having grown up with the Hot Pot tradition in her native Taiwan, Angela is passionate about preserving and sharing this time-honored culinary tradition with her Colorado community by providing her diners with an authentic, yet Paleo-inspired Hot Pot experience that can’t be found anywhere else on the continent!
The menu will consist of multiple stages of Hot Pot, along with separately prepared Taiwanese and Japanese-inspired appetizers and desserts.
During the event you will also be treated to an informal yet highly informative “tour” of Taiwanese culture, which will include how to set up your own Hot Pot at home, the history of the Hot Pot tradition, as well as a discussion of its various manifestations in other cultures.
Share an evening of delicious food, conversation, and community!
